DAVID WARREN JENNINGS died at his Cora, Sullivan County home. Married ELIZABETH DOUGLAS BUTLER in 1879, who died 21 years ago. 11 children, 2 dying in infancy; CARRIE DEAN, Dennis KS; GROVER C, Browning MO; GOLDA HARMON, Milan MO; LUCRETIA N. QUIGLEY of Browning MO; JAMES W, Milan MO; GEORGE, Cora MO. Also leaves brother GEORGE B. of Parsons KS. Burial Deep Springs Cem.

----------

His parents were
John Jennings
and Nancy Petty
according to his death certificate
but others claim his mother was Nancy Brown.

It seems that Nancy Petty and Nancy Brown were the same person and since she died 1861, the truth may have become muddled. Some death certificates of their children state that the last name was Petty (See Lucy Jennings Maggart) while other claim Brown. (George B Jennings)
