Vicente was survived by son Vicente Jr. of Chimayo; 5 daughters: Angelica Medina, Loretta Martinez, Marcella Garduño, all of Chimayo; Connie Vigil of Cundiyo, and Cecilia Casias of Albuquerque; granddaughter reared by him Lori Martinez of Chicago, Illinois; 4 brothers: Guillermo, Sevedeo, and Facundo of Española and Eloy of Cuarteles; 5 sisters: Minnie Vigil of Chimayo, Aurelia Salazar of Utah, Angelica Roybal of Santa Fe, Julianita Archuleta of California, and Sister Angela of Texas; 23 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and other relatives.
Funeral services were on May 8th in Holy Family Church in Chimayo. Burial was in El Potrero Cemetery. Pallbearers: Tim Medina, Ray Medina, Henry Martinez, Matthew Martinez, Chris Garduño, and Barney Vigil. Honorary pallbearers: remaining grandchildren.
