He was survived by his wife Celia of the home; his mother Rebecca Martinez of Chimayó; two daughters: Doris Pacheco of Santa Cruz and Evangeline Madrid of Chimayó; three sons: Harold Martinez, Harry Martinez and Halbert Martinez of Chimayó; four sisters: Glorinda García and Delia Martinez of Chimayó, Mary Laurel of San Antonio, Texas, and Roselia Archuleta of Fairview; a brother Carlos Martinez of Alcalde; and many other relatives.
Funeral services were held on 20 November 1985 at the Block-Salazar Mortuary in Española. Burial followed in the Assembly of God Cemetery in Chimayó.
