Francis P. 'Fritz', age 90, of Marystown, entered eternal life on Thursday, February 14, 2013, at his residence.
Born in Marystown on September 2, 1922, the son of Christian and Margaret (Pauly) Doerr. Fritz married Ruth Gross on October 7, 1946, in Gettysburg, South Dakota. He served in the United States Navy during WWII.
Survived by loving wife, Ruth; children, Linda Noyce and husband, Ron, David Doerr and wife, Beth, Patricia Menke and husband, Ron, Michael Doerr; 14 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Sylvia Doerr; many nieces and nephews. Preceded by parents, Christian and Margaret; brothers and sisters, Rudy Doerr, Mag Clemens and husband, Harry, Am Wellens and husband, Charlie, Mary Cheney, Tony Doerr.
Services: Mass of Christian Burial Monday February 18, 2013, 11:00 AM at St. Mary of the Purification Catholic Church, 15850 Marystown Road, Shakopee. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery.
Visitation: Visitation Sunday from 3-7 PM, and Monday from 10-11 AM, both will be held at the Church.
