David George Blake, 45, of Hartford, Vermont, died suddenly Saturday morning, April 21, 2012 from injuries sustained from a motorcycle crash on Route 14 in Hartford, Vermont.

He was born on August 8, 1966 in Claremont, NH and grew up in Charlestown, NH, where he attended Fall Mountain Regional High School. He moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1991 and married Linda Langford in August of 1992. They made Hartford their home in 1999, where he worked hard as a truck driver for K & W and Carroll Tire. He was an avid fan of the New England Patriots and the Boston Bruins and his love of motorcycles was a passion he pursued from childhood. He was dedicated to his family and friends throughout his life and his love of laughter, music and good times was none to be compared. He lived every day to the fullest and was always concerned with the well being of those he loved.

He is survived by his wife, Linda and their two sons, Christopher and Cody all of Hartford. His parents, Joyce Szalucka of Charlestown and Chubby Blake of Claremont. His sister, Laura Blake of Plainfield. His nephew, Derek Chase and nieces, Samantha Merrill of Charlestown and Tiffany Blake of Plainfield. His mother-in-law, Bonnie Jennison of Hanover. His brothers-in-law, David Langford of Plainfield, Jason Jennison of Chesterfield, Andy Ramos and Brian Rosenkoetter of Ohio. His sisters-in-law, Mellissa Thomas, Terrie Ramos, Kate Rosenkoetter and Susan Roll all of Ohio. His extended family, Michael, Mallory, Steven and Christine Langford all of Charlestown and his many friends and coworkers.His black lab, Brudis whom he adored and his cat, Stupid.

His favorite quote was always "I'm not here for a long time, I am here for a good time" and his philosophy was never back down and stand up for what you believe in. David will be loved and missed every hour of every day until we all meet in heaven.

Burial will be in Pine Crest Cemetery in Charlestown, NH.
