--Eldest child of George W. Plummer and wife Tempa Catherine Green.
--Ella married James Walter Hagler about 1902. They lived in Haskell County, TX in 1910. Ella's father and siblings were there too. They returned to Cabarrus County for a few years but then returned to Texas. Ella and her husband and children lived in Matagorda County, TX in 1920. They returned to Cabarrus County a few years later. The couple had 7 children. One child died young prior to 1910. The surviving 6: Jesse A., Homer O., Grady Thomas, Edna Elizabeth, Dorothy Faye, and Oralene Hagler.
--Cause of death: pericarditis. Ella shares a headstone with son Jesse who died a few months later. Her husband later remarried.
--Note: headstone lists her birth year as 1884, but delayed birth certificate and death certificate say 1883.
