W.J. Davis Dies; Is Ill Only Few Days
W.J. Davis, well known farmer of south of town, died at his home Monday after an illness of only four days. He was 55 years of age.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Otter Creek cemetery near Snyder by Rev. Ball of Manitou.
William Judson Davis was born at Black Oak, Mo. March 31, 1881 and passed away December 21, 1936, aged 55 years, 9 months and 21 day. He was married to Miss Pearl Cope November 5, 1902 and to them was born six children, two of whom died in infancy.
Besides his widow he is survived by his children, Floyd, Albert, Venson and Iva, all living at Carnegie.
