Mrs. A. R. Hodge of Knightdale, 57, died early yesterday morning in Rex Hospital.
She had lived in and near Knightdale all her life and was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church there.
Mrs. Hodge is survived by her husband and the following sons and daughters: Dr. A. R. Hodge, Severn; Mrs. G. W. Beck, Potecasi; B. C., Festus and Madeline Hodge of Knightdale.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Knightdale M. E. Church this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock by Rev. L. B. Pattishal, pastor, assisted by Rev. J C. Williams, Fuquay, and Rev. T. B. Hough, Garner, a former pastor. Interment will be in Knightdale cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be C. Y. Williams, E. T. Jones, Sr., C. L. Robertson, Gilbert Watkins and L. C. Allen of Knightdale, and Dwight Avery of Raleigh. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. B. J Lawrence, Dr. R. J. Wall, Dr. Charles Eldridge, George W. Sprinkle, Clarence Howell, Raleigh; Dr. J. R. Hester, R. B. Whitley, Walter Scarborough and L. T. Britt, Wendell; C. L.
