Margaret E. Boyle, 82, of South Main Street, Westport died Friday, December 2, 1988 at CVPH Medical Center.
She was born April 12, 1906 in Westport, the daughter of Sylvester and Frances (Greely) Eastman.
She graduated from Westport High School in 1924 and went on to Amsterdam City Hospital School of Nursing, graduating in 1927. She then studied and worked at Manhattan Eye and Ear Hospital before moving back to Amsterdam. She returned to Westport in 1943 and had lived there since.
Survivors include her husband, Frank Boyle of Westport, one daughter, Nancy Pierce of Wadhams; three grandchildren: Judy French and John Pierce of Wadhams and Bill Pierce of Savannah, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to the Westport Emergency Squad or St. Philip Neri Church, Westport.
