NORTH JUDSON--Funeral services were conducted for Mrs. Lavina Diamond, aged 87, in the F. G. Eatinger chapel this afternoon at 2 o'clock in charge of Rev. E. W. Nugent. Mrs. Diamond died in her home on the southeast side of town early Monday following a three weeks' illness. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Lillian Murphy and one son, William Whitmore, of Chicago; one sister, Mrs. Amanda Hine, and one granddaughter, Mrs. John Adams. Burial in the North Judson Pioneer cemetery.
