L. M. Storke, a well known and highly respected citizen of Prince William County, died at his home, in Independent Hill, yesterday morning, at ten o’clock after a lingering illness. He is survived by his widow, four sons John, Arthur and Worth of Independent Hill, and Edward of Washington. He also leaves two brothers. Mr. Stroke was 58 years old and was born and raised in Prince William County. He moved to Independent Hill about five years ago from Kopp. The funeral will be held from Bell Haven church tomorrow afternoon at 2 o’clock. The services will be under the auspices of the Junior Order United American Mechanics, of which Mr. Stroke had been a member. Interment will be at Bell Haven churchyard.
