---Mrs Liddie Ellen Crum---
Mrs. Liddie Ellen Crum, 79 widow of Abel Crum, died at the home of her son, Henry Crum, Bendersville Sunday afternoon at 1:40 o'clock from bronchial pneumonia. Although in fading health for several years she was bedfast only a few days.
She was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Elizabeth Hartman Hardy and was born in West Virginia, moving to Adams county at the age of four years.
Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Emory Shetter, Aspers, R 1; Mrs. A. G. Hertzog, Bendersville; Mrs. Mary Hoffman, Bendersville; Mrs. Benjamin Thomas, Aspers R. 2; Henry Crum, Bendersville; George Crum, Mt Tabor, and Leroy Crum, Idaville, and one brother, John Hardy, Benton Harbor Michigan. Thirty-one grandchildren and thirty-one great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services Wednesday morning at 9:30 o'clock from the late home with further services at Cline's United Brethren church conducted by the Rev. George E. Snyder. Interment in Clines' cemetery.
The body may be viewed at the home of Henry Crum, Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 o'clock.
