OBITUARY:
MELVIN E. ISHMAEL. Inurnment (sic) was private for Melvin E. Ishmael who died Nov 28, 1985 in Jackson at the age of 59. A native of St. Helena, he had resided in West Point for nine years prior to his death. Mr. Ishmael was manager of Sprouse Rietz for seven years and had been a veteran of World War II, serving in the US Air Force. He was commander of an American Legion post in Oregon. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis.
