Lillie Mae Boggs, age 87, of Corryton, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2016 at home. She was born in Knoxville. She was a faithful member of Clapps Chapel United Methodist Church for 54 years and the Christian Fellowship Sunday School Class. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and many others who were like her own, unconditionally. She is in Heaven right now teaching Jesus how to garden. Her love for gardening was evident in her beautiful flower gardens as well as her years of canning. Other favorite hobbies included sewing, cooking, making crafts and collecting frogs. She loved to camp with her sweetheart she called "Fonzie" and all of her family.

Preceded in death by parents, Everette and Bonnie Barr; and her sister, Anna Ruth Felker. She is survived by husband of 62 years, Willard Boggs; children, Randy (Kathy), Ronnie (Donna), Rusty (Leslie), Becca Fisher (Ron), and Gina Legg (Warren "Opie"); grandchildren, Angela Feagins, Melissa Dockins, Kristen Trew, Christopher Legg, Allyson Stokes, Dustin Boggs, Caleb and Olivia Fisher, Angela Whitley, Heather McFarland and Jay Smith; great-grandchildren, Brycen and Graycen Feagins, Harper and Raegan Bull, Emerie and Carter Dockins, Avery Mae Legg, Lauren and Logan Moody, Braden and Jacob Carroll, Nathan and Tyler Bennett and Lydia Smith; niece and nephew, Donna and Dennis Felker; brother in law, Earl Felker; special friends and caregivers, Darlene Robinson and Sharlene Donaldson.

A celebration of life service will be held at 8:00 PM, Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Clapps Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Bill Akers, Rev. David Smith and Rev. Ron Fisher officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 AM, Wednesday at Clapps Chapel Cemetery for the interment at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday at Clapps Chapel United Methodist Church, 7420 Clapps Chapel Road Corryton, TN 37721.
