Williston, S.C. - Funeral services for Coleman Bazzle, 81, of Williston, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 30, 2009 at Williston First Baptist Church, with burial in the Williston Cemetery. Mr. Bazzle died on Wednesday. Born in Allendale County, Coleman was the son of the late Ulyus Coleman Bazzle and Sarah Inez Platts Bazzle. He retired as a road construction superintendent for Robert O. Collins Construction Company, was a member of the National Guard, Allendale Unit for 18 years, was a cattle farmer, co-owner of Baxley Tire Center and was a carrier for The State Newspaper for 36 years. Coleman was a member of Williston First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy "Dot" Ann Baxley Bazzle of the home; son, David P. (Jodi) Bazzle Sr. of Williston; granddaughter, Amanda Dorothy Bazzle; grandson, David Paul Bazzle Jr.; sisters, Martha Ann Bazzle of Varnville, Alice Gibson of Hampton, Linda Thomason of Tifton, Ga.; a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Lillian Rahn. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday at Folk Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Williston First Baptist Church, P. O.
