Services for Elizabeth Ethel Brooks, 91, of Placerville will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, at the Placerville Seventh-day Adventist Church. Pastor Bud Brackett will Officiate.; Burial will be in Camino Cemetery.
Mrs. Brooks, a retired hairdresser, died Dec. 21 at her home.
Born in County Line, N.Y., Mrs. Brooks lived in El Dorado County for 18 years. She was self-employed as a hairdresser for 45 years.
Mrs. Brooks Was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
She is survived by her husband Lenard Brooks of Pope Valley; daughters Gwendolyn Reuter of Medina, N.Y., and Phillis Reak of Placerville; brother Robert Thaxter of Attica, N.Y.; sister Zola York of Placerville; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Snow-line Hospice, 814 Pacific St., Placerville, 95667. Chapel of the Pines Funeral home handled the arrangements.
