Arline Minteer, 91, of Aledo, died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009, at the Aledo Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

Graveside services for Mrs. Minteer will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Beulah Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 801 W. Edgington St., Reynolds. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Aledo Rehabilitation and Health Care Center or to the Community Presbyterian Church, Sherrard.

Arline was born on Oct. 11, 1918, in East Moline, the daughter of Charles Nimrick and Laura Erickson Nimrick. She married Charles Baugher on July 30, 1941, in Kahoka, Mo. He preceded her in death in 1965. Later she married Virgil Minteer in 1967. He preceded her in death in 1979.

Arline worked as a cook at the Rock Island High School for 22 years retiring in 1988. She enjoyed working in her yard.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Jack Miller, Taylor Ridge; daughter-in-law, Catherine Baugher, Colona; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brothers and their spouses, Ronald and Loretta Nimrick, Rock Island, and George and Pat Nimrick, Taylor Ridge.

Mrs. Minteer was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Baugher Sr.; husband, Virgil Minteer; son, Charles "Skip" Baugher Jr.; and several brothers and sisters.
