C. G. JENNINGS DIES THURSDAY

Calvin G. Jennings, 66, Valliant, died at 4:45 p. m. Thursday at Saint Joseph's hospital, Paris, following a short illness.

Born at Gainesville, Tex., May 10, 1888 {Sic}, he had resided at Valliant for the past two years, formerly living at Oak Hill and Shults. He was a member of the Methodist church, and he was a farmer.

He is survived by his widow; five sons, L. W. Jennings, Lubbock, Tex.; Floyd Jennings, Snyder, Tex.; Earnest W. Jennings, Irving, Tex., and Lieut. Thad L. Jennings and Lieut. John Jennings, both in Korea with the air corps; four daughters, Mrs. Henry Ridge, La Mesa, N. M.; Mrs. John Burks, Austin, Tex.; Mrs. Jack Daro, Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Jimmy Hannes, Edinburg, Tex.; one brother, Jim Jennings, Idabel; one sister, Mrs. Minnie Phillips, Idabel; 23 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

SERVICES HELD FOR C. G. JENNINGS

Funeral services for Calvin G. Jennings, 66, Valliant, who died Thursday at Saint Joseph's hospital, Paris, were held at 3 p. m. Sunday at Wilson Memorial chapel with Rev. Finley Reid officiating.

Arrangements and burial in Rock Hill cemetery were under direction of Wilson funeral home.
