Mrs. Lizzie A Fair, 66 years old, resident of Latimore township, near York Springs, was found dead in bed Thursday morning at the home of her son, Harrison Fair, with whom she made her home. Death was caused by apoplexy. She was in the best of health Wednesday and her death came as a shock to a large number of friends and relatives. She was the widow of Samuel T. Fair and the daughter of the late Jesse and Margaret Wright, who resided near Gardners.
The following sons and daughters survive; Merville Fair, Hampton; Mrs. John Sipe Oly York county; Mrs. Alvin Harbolt, Dillsburg; Mrs. William Harr, East Berlin; Charles Fair, York; Mrs. Samuel Settrow, Lewisberry; Mrs. Robert Sutton, Lewisberry; Mrs. Myrtle Fair, at home, and Harrison Fair, with whom Mrs. Fair lived. Twenty one grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive. These brothers and sisters remain; John Wright, Gettysburg; Mrs. Walham Kemper and Mrs. Amarda Day, both of Carlisle.
Funeral services Sunday morning meeting at the house at 10 o'clock with further services and interment in the Chestnut Grove Lutheran Church of which she was A member, Rev. Paul Gladfelter, Abbottstown and Rev. George R Eveling, Dillsburg officiating.
