Richard Irwin Higgerson went to be with the Lord on Sept 5, 2001. He spent the last 51 years in Daggett, Calif. He retired from a civil service job at the Marine Corps Logistics Base Yermo Annex in 1975. He loved the bee keeping business and worked at it for many years. His memory rests with his beloved wife, Roberta Higgerson, and his five children: Sandy, Kirtley, Richard, Jeffery, and Timothy Higgerson. His grandchildren are: Rich, Becky Smith, Holly Webster, James Higgerson, Candy Higgerson, Deanna Higgerson, Joseph and Jacob Higgerson. He has eight great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, 2001, at Daggett Community Bible Church, South Street in Daggett.
