William R. "Red" Berryhill, Jr, 77, of Glengary, died Monday as the result of a motorcycle accident.

Mr. Berryhill, born inGore, VA; was the son of the late William R. Berryhill, Sr. and Julia Louise Guard Berryhill and step-son of Grace Berryhill. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Allen "Birdy" and Bain Berryhill; a sister, Barbara Sue Leary and a step-sister, Virginia Craig.

Mr. Berryhill was the owner and operator of the Redee Amber Club in Martinsburg and was a truck driver for many years.
He was a Veteran of the United States Army having served in the Korean War. He was a lifelong motorcycle rider for over 60 years.

He is survived by his wife, Dolores Verheyen Berryhill; three sons, William P. Berryhill of Martinsburg, Edward R. Berryhill of Glengary, and Brian B. Berryhill of martinsburg; two daughters, Lorraine M. Burns of Hedgesville, and Cheryl A. Berryville of Glengary; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one brother, James B. Berryhill of Williamsburg, VA; two sisters, Ann Stafford of Carrolton, VA; and Louise Rose of Williamsburg, VA; He is also survived by longtime special friends, Saul and Ulla Lowe of Churchland, VA.
