Anadarko Rites For Mrs. Capes Will Be Friday
Funeral services for Mrs. Bennie Capes, Fort Cobb, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the Smith Funeral chapel at Anadarko. Special prayer services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday.
Rev. Fremont Standing, pastor of the Rock Springs Baptist church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Rock Springs cemetery.
Mrs. Capes, 41, died Monday at her home northwest of Fort Cobb.
She is survived by her husband; a son, Lyndreth Capes, who is with the U.S. Army at Fort Bliss, Texas; one daughter, La Donna Capes, Carnegie; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wheeler of Fort Cobb; three brothers, Francis Edmonds, Joseph Wheeler Jr., Carnegie, and Davey Wheeler, Fort Cobb; two sisters, Cecilia Wheeler of Fort Cobb and Marguerita Galinda of Carnegie.
