(April 1851 ~ March 19, 1915)

***

The death of Mrs. N. A. Aubray removes one from the W.R.C. who has been in that order as a charter member, and a grand worker for the W.R.C. and G.A.R. when her health permitted her to be. For years she has been a leading spirit in all good and charitable deeds done by this corp. Her loss will be great to her sisters and the G. A.R.

SONS AND DAUGHTERS ALLOWED AUBRAY CLAIM
At the regular meeting of the Sons and Daughters of Justice last evening, a letter containing a draft of the death claim of Mrs. Nannie Aubray who died March 19th, who was a member of the local order No. 52 was received and the draft has been paid to the relatives of Mrs. Aubray. The prompt payment of various claims in this order goes to show that their aim is to the best advantage and no claim has been left unpaid in this order since its organization. Just fifteen days after the policy was filed with the National Council until the draft arrived at the hands of the financier to be delivered to the relatives of Mrs. Aubray.
