Phyllis Ann Bearden, age 63 of Benton, died Friday, September 06, 2013 in Little Rock. She was born in Malvern on April 5, 1950 to Ralph Parrish and the late Emma Chancellor Parrish. Reared and receiving her early education in the Malvern School District, and graduating MHS in 1968, she later obtained the level of LPTN II, from the Benton Services Center, now Arkansas Health Center. She was employed there 33 1/2 years. Phyllis enjoyed making arrangements for weddings and holidays, and was a wonderful cook. She was a Baptist by denomination.

She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Bearden of Benton, to whom she was married on September 3, 1968 in Malvern, by a son Jeff Bearden of Benton; by two daughters, Kim Bearden and her fiance`, Eric Hairston of Benton, and Rhonda Vance and her husband Jeff, of Sheridan. her father, Ralph Parrish of Malvern; four grandchildren, Tiffany Maxwell (Zack), Justin Wilson, Joshua Wilson, and Brianna Vance; one great-grandchild Hayevn Maxwell; and a lifelong friend, Marcia Haney Rogers.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Monday afternoon, September 8th from four until six o'clock in the evening.
Her funeral will be on Monday afternoon, September 9, 2013 at one o'clock in the chapel of J.A. Funk Funeral Home with Brother Vance Nutt officiating. The body will be cremated and interred in Ten Mile Cemetery at a later date.
The family will be at 714 Pine Bluff Street, Malvern.
