The family and friends of Paul Keith Anderson were unexpectedly shocked at his sudden death Friday evening, June 30 at his home 122 1/2 N. Main Street, Yeagertown, Pa. He had been quite seriously injured in a fall two weeks previously, but was recovering so well that he returned to his home from the hospital a few hours before he suddenly passed away.
He was born June 2, 1926 in Brockway, the son of Ivan and Olive (Calhoun) Anderson. Besides his parents, he leaves his wife, the former Evelyn Renwick, and three children, Dee, Gary and Pamela, at home, and a brother, Dean, of Brockway.
He was a former resident of this place having attended school here during his childhood and graduated in the class of 1944, Brockway High School.
Paul had been associated with the Womeldorf Trucking Lines for a number of years, and a member of the council, a veteran of World War II and a member of Elk Lodge, 379 F&AM, Ridgway.
Services were held on Monday, July 3 at 2 p.m. in the Yeagertown Lutheran Church of which he was a member and an outstanding leader of the young peoples organization. Pastor David P. Kyler officiated and interment followed in the church cemetery.
