GEORGETOWN - Bobbie W. Allen, 77, died Friday, April 16, 1999.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Georgetown with the Rev. Jack Ware officiating. Arrangements are by Cook-Walden/Davis Funeral Home.
Mrs. Allen was born in Brownwood, raised in Roby and had lived in Canyon for 18 years, where she was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She was employed by nursing homes in the Amarillo and Canyon area.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Jay D. Allen; three sons, Jay Dee Allen Jr. and Robert D. Allen, both of Dallas, and Jimmy H. Allen of San Antonio; two brothers, Jimmy Wilkins of Houston and Donny Wilkins of Santa Fe; a sister, Jewel Edwards of Austin; and four
grandchildren.
The family suggests, in lieu of flowers, memorials be to Make A Wish Foundation of North Texas, 5005 LBJ Fwy, Suite 410, Dallas, TX 75244, or to a favorite charity.
