She married Thomas Jefferson Barton. Their known children are Naomi F and Frances Barton.

SOLDIER - Services will be Wednesday at Mercer Funeral Home at Holton for Mrs. Alma Fay Barton, 65, Soldier, who died about two hours after arrival at an Onaga hospital Sunday afternoon. She had a heart ailment and pneumonia. She was born Feb. 16, 1907 at Elk City,Okla. and lived at Sabetha and then in the Soldier community about 25 years.
She was a member of the Methodist Church. She was a special education teacher for USD 335 in Jackson county. She taught the past 32 years in schools in Nemaha, Brown and Jackson counties.
She was married to Thomas J. Barton in November of 1927 at Morrill. He survives. Other survivors include 2 daughters, Mrs. Earl Cordell, Soldier and Mrs. Naomi Messinger, El Dorado; 3 brothers, Claude Pasco, Omaha, Neb., Howard Pasco, Sun Valley, Calif., and Fred Pasco, Lincoln, Neb.; 2 sisters, Mrs. Thelma Flack, Sabetha, and Mrs. Ruth Collins, Peoria, Ill; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren."
