ERIC GUSTAFSON DIES AT HOSPITAL
Eric A. Gustafson a farmer residing four miles northwest of town, died Monday night at the Bethesda Hospital, St. Paul from bronchial pneumonia. He was 69 years of age and had been at the hospital for only a few days.
Funeral services are planned for 1:30 Thursday afternoon at Sprain's Undertaking parlors with rev. E. A. Wahlquist of Lindstrom officiating. Casket bearers will be Gust Carlson, Carl Strand, Walter Peterson, Axel Johnson, Herbert Peterson, Axel Johnson, Herbert Peterson, and William Shoberg. His remains will be laid alongside those of his wife at the Center City Cemetery
The deceased was born on January 13, 1865 at Sodermanland, Sweden and came to this country in 1892. He settled on the farm north of Chisago City which he occupied until the time of his death. He was married in 1895. His wife died in 1911. One son, who is also dead was the only child. He leaves no relatives in this country but several in Sweden, the names of whom were not available at the time of this writing.
