Edith Leckie Trenbath, 95, of McMurray, Pa., died Wednesday, November 10, 2004, at home, the day after her 95th birthday.

She was born in Kirkwall, Ontario, Canada.

Mrs. Trenbath was a cheerful, positive person who saw the best in everyone.

Her husband, the Rev. Robert Stockton Trenbath, is deceased.

Surviving are a daughter, Susan Ruether of McMurray; a son, Dr. Richard Trenbath of Summersville, W.Va.; five grandchildren, Andrew, Kristin and Robin Ruether and Kim and Susan Trenbath; and a great-granddaughter, Amelia Ai Ruether, who she had just met.

Mrs. Trenbath will be entombed in Washington National Cathedral next to her husband, former rector of St. Alban Episcopal Church, Washington, D.C.

In lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully accepted to Meals-on-Wheels of Peters Township, 905 East McMurray Road, Venetia, PA 15367; or Camden-on-Gauley Medical Center, P.O. Box 69, Camden-on-Gauley, WV 26208.
