William H. Brady, of Hanover, entered into God's eternal care November 28.

He was the son of the late Raymond and Helen (Lentz) Brady.

Mr. Brady was a 1951 graduate of Delone Catholic High School in McSherrystown. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict serving as a staff sergeant in Okinawa, Philippines, and Fairfield AFB in California. Bill was retired from Smalls Auto Parts and Penn Mar Automotive in Hanover after 41 years of service.

He was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church in McSherrystown, the Catholic War Veterans in Bonneauville since 1957, the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) and the National Woodie Club. He was a life member of the McSherrystown Home Association, the former McSherrystown Fire Company currently SAVES, and the McSherrystown Knights of Columbus, and a life member as well as past president and secretary of the McSherrystown Fish & Game Association. Bill was a Hunter Education Instructor for the PA Game Commission for over 30 years.

He was the husband of Jean M. (Rowe) Brady for 13 years and surviving, in addition to her, are three sons, Ricky W. Brady of Spring Grove, Thomas R. Brady of Hanover, and William I. Brady of New Oxford; four daughters, Janice M. Brady of New Oxford, Lisa A. Lefever of Abbottstown, Teresa A. O'Conner of Abbottstown, and Jeanne M. Brady of New Oxford; three step-sons, Jeffrey S. Stuart of Knoxville, TN, Kerry L. Brashears of Lawrenceville, GA, and Barry J. Brashears of Hanover; 19 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bernard C. Brady of McSherrystown and Donald R. Brady of Hanover; one step-brother, James Rebert of Dillsburg; and a step-sister, Kay Mincy of Fort Worth, TX.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Janet P. (Weaver) Brady, who departed this life September 17, 1986

Interment was with full military honors provided by the Hanover Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
