Anna Hesler Eagleton, 99, of Springfield, Illinois, formerly of Olney, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.

Anna was born June 30, 1916 in Richland County, Illinois, the daughter of Alva Howard and Mattie F. (Sager) Hesler.

She married Bernard Eagleton on June 28, 1935 in Willow Hill, Illinois.

Anna loved her children and grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved gardening. She worked in the Olney Greenhouse & Flower Shop and she loved flowers. Anna was a lifetime member of Congregational Christian Church in Olney.

Anna is survived by husband, Bernard Eagleton of Springfield, IL, son, Dr. Lanie Eagleton of Springfield, IL, daughter, Koneta Eagleton-Snyder of Highlands Ranch, CO, nine grandchildren, Dr. Pamela Snyder, Dr. David Snyder, Cynthia Salazar, Zachary Eagleton, Dr. Bernard Eagleton, Irma Eagleton-Hill, Alexander Eagleton, Austin Eagleton, Michael Eagleton, nine great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by parents, four sisters and three brothers.
