Wayne County Press June 13, 1994~Mrs. Betty Brown, 64, of Sims, died at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 11, 1994, at Fairfield memorial Hospital. A retired Airtex employee, Mrs. Brown had been in failing health. RITES TUESDAY Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday from the Sims Missionary Baptist Church, with Rev. W. C. Ward officiating. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. She was born in Hamilton County Feb. 16, 1930, the daughter of Norris and Bessie COLEMAN Thomason. On April 9, 1949 she was married to Otto Brown. Mrs. Brown was a member of the Sims Missionary Baptist Church and a member and past noble grand of the Sims Rebekah Lodge. THE SURVIVORS Surviving are her husband; three sons, Alfred Brown of Fairmount, Ind; Darrell Brown, of Caseyville; and Kyle Brown of Cary, N. Ca.; one daughter, Elaine Feather, of Sarasota, Fla.; four grandchildren; two brothers, Johnny Thomason, of Batavia; and Glen Dale Thomason, of Tulsa, Okla.; and one half-sister, Adeline Gammon, of Wayne City.
