Mr. Sager was one of Richland County's finest educators and was highly respected as a professional school man. He graduated from High School in 1926 and had been a teacher and educator 35 years, until his retirement two years ago.
He was a member of the Noble Christian Church, Noble Lions Club and the Noble Masonic Lodge.
Surviving are his wife, Beula; a son, Bob of Falls Church, Va.; a daughter, Mrs. Barbara McMillan of Charleston and four grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother, Ralph Sager of Noble and three sisters, Mrs. Inez Hasler and Mrs. Fay Geis, both of Noble and Mrs. Naomi Gaede of Olney.
A sister, Freida Kimpling preceded him in death.
