Christine Hernandez, 42, of Mertzon, passed away on March 2, 2012. A Rosary was held on Sunday at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels/North. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Monday at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Mertzon. Interment will follow in the Mertzon Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Gutierrez Funeral Chapels/North.
Survivors include her husband, Javier Hernandez; son Rick Rojo and fiancee Haley Moynihan of Mertzon; stepson Julian Hernandez and Christina Flores of Mertzon; daughters Lola Hernandez of Mertzon and Suazi Hernandez and Greg McClure of San Antonio and Sydney Hernandez of Fall City, Texas. Other survivors include brothers Martin and Dorothy Limones of Weatherford, Texas, Raymond and Molly Salazar of Haskell, Texas, and Daniel and Nancy Salazar of Bossier City, La. Pallbearers will be Albert Perez, Johnny Guadarrama, Moses Alfaro, Joe Salazar, Kevin Harper and Armando Montemayor. Honorary pallbearers will be Ramon Salazar, Daniel Salazar and Martin Limones.
