He was retired from Meadow Gold Milk as a delivery man, was a World War II Navy veteran, and a member of First christian church of Flora and Flora Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Lowell and Earl Pemberton; a daughter, Diana Pemberton; two brothers Elmo and Harold Pemberton; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents and two brothers, Dean and LaVern Pemberton.
Funeral services were held at Neal Funeral Home with burial in Red Brush Cemetery, Louisville.
