Roy L. Pemberton, 90, of Flora, died July 2, 2005, at St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

He was born April 9, 1915, in Casey, Iowa, the son of Thomas Howard and Mamie Fugate Pemberton. He married Betty Porter August 10, 1940.

He was retired from Meadow Gold Milk as a delivery man, was a World War II Navy veteran, and a member of First christian church of Flora and Flora Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Lowell and Earl Pemberton; a daughter, Diana Pemberton; two brothers Elmo and Harold Pemberton; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents and two brothers, Dean and LaVern Pemberton.

Funeral services were held at Neal Funeral Home with burial in Red Brush Cemetery, Louisville.
