Rodney W. Richardson, 51, of Noble, died Saturday, November 29, 2014, at his residence.
Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, December 4 at Glenwood Church in Noble with Pastor Doyle Williams officiating.
Burial will be at 1 p.m. Friday, December 5 at Hanna Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Thursday at the church. Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Richardson was born July 12, 1963, in Flora, the son of Ronald Wayne and Muriel Raejean (Parsons) Richardson.
He married Ruth Ellen Harmon on June 11, 1983, at Glenwood Church in Noble.
Rodney adored his grandchildren. He enjoyed taking them on four-wheeler rides through the country. Rodney took pleasure in cruising around the block in his truck to visit with friends and neighbors. He was known for his joking personality and carefree attitude. He especially enjoyed his afternoon naps with his beloved cat, Sammy.
Rodney loved to be in the comfort of his own home, his own town, and surrounded by his family. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Ruth Ellen Harmon, of Noble; daughter, Lacie Livingston and husband Brian, of Noble; son, Cody Richardson and wife Sarah, of Noble; grandchildren, Mariah and Landon Livingston, and Millie Richardson and a soon-to-be-born baby girl; sister, Regina Utley and husband Tony, of Noble; his mother, Raejean Richardson, of Noble; and nephews, Derek and Dalton Utley.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Wayne Richardson.
