Thomasson, Henry C.- private July 3, 1861. Wounded in arm,
necessitating amputation, and captured at Gettysburg, Pa. July
2, 1863. Exchanged at David's Island, N. Y. Harbor, January 1864.
On detail duty as Provost Guard at Ga. Railroad in 1864, to
close of war. Paroled at Augusta, Ga. May 6,1865.

He received a pension for the loss of his arm.
