ALBUQUERQUE, NM - Eugene T. Beaver, 87, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010. He was born Feb. 2, 1923 to Curtis P. Beaver and Faith Childress Beaver in Winston-Salem, NC. He attended Hanes High School and served in the U.S. Army during World War II, at Honolulu, Hawaii (Pearl Harbor). He retired from Bell Labs in El Paso, Texas. He was preceeded in death by, his wife, Ellen Goforth Beaver; his mother, Faith, of Washington, D.C.; father, and brothers: Charles Beaver and Daniel Beaver of Winston-Salem, NC. Surviving are: a daughter, Lynne B. Davis (Randy) of San Antonio, Texas; sons: Joseph Beaver (Cynthia), Albuquerque, NM, Thomas Beaver (Bunny) of Edgewood, NM; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a sister, Daphine B. Sams, Winston-Salem, NC. "My Dear brother, we will re-link the "BROKEN CHAIN" in HEAVEN." Graveside Services, with Military Honor Guard in Rio Rancho, NM, August, 31, at 11 a.m. Vista Verda Memorial Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
