OMAHA, Neb. — Services for Mark Ellis Lundgren, 28, and his wife Karen N Lundgren 26, both of Omaha, were held Friday at the Merle Hay Funeral Home in Omaha
Interment was in Chapel Hill Gardens Cemetery, Omaha.
Mr. and Mrs. Lundgren were fatally injured July 15 in an automobile accident in Omaha.
Mr. Lundgren was born in Estherville and later moved to Des Moines with his family. He attended Drake University, Des Moines Area Community College and the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He was employed as a computer programmer at Boys Town, Nebraska. He had also served four years in the US Air Force and had lived in Omaha the past five years.
Mrs. Lundgren was a native of Carthage, Mo, and graduated from the University of Missouri. She was employed in Omaha.
Mr. Lundgren is survived by his father and stepmother, Ellis T. and Kristen Lundgren, Des Moines; one sister, Lois M. Potter, Des Moines, one brother, David L. Lundgren, Des Moines; and his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Opelt, Estherville.
Mrs. Lundgren is survived by her parents, Dorothy and Ray E. Shull Carthage- two sisters Mary Bell, Chattanooga, Tenn., and Cathy Stark, Carthage; two brothers, Ray L. Shull, Austin, Texas, and John W Shull, Carthage; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter D Frost, Carthage, and Sherman L Shull, Carthage; and great grandmother, Retta E. Fugate, Rogers, Ark of Estherville Daily News, published in Estherville, Iowa on Wednesday, July 23rd, 1980.
