Funeral services for Mrs. Alfred Gerow, Sr., 83 were Thursday morning at St. Philip Neri Church. The pastor, the Rev. Joseph Quinn, was celebrant of the high Mass of requiem. Bearers were Cornelius Gregory, Freeman Jenks, Emile LaRose, John Sheldon, James Stevenson and William Mac Donough. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Mrs. Gerow, the former Lillian Annette Favret, was born at Rosiere, NY Dec. 32, 2877, a daughter of Theodore and Sara Jane Favret. She was married to Alfred Gerow on Oct.19, 1906. She is survived by her husband, two sons, Alfred, Jr. of Springfield, Vt. and Charles of Westport, a daughter, Mary (Mrs. Francis Carpenter) and eight grandchildren.
