ALICE WITTHUHN

Mrs. Alice Witthuhn, 68, of 928 4th Street, Kiel, formerly of Route 2, Kiel, died Thursday morning, March 24, at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc, following a lengthy illness.

The former Alice Schreiber was born on March 15, 1920 in Kiel, the daughter of the late Edwin and Martha (Holzer) Schreiber. She attended Pigeon River School in Cleveland.
On Jun 10, 1939, she married Harry Witthuhn in the town of Herman. The couple farmed the Schreiber homestead in the town of Meeme. He died on September 17, 1980.

Survivors are a sister, Mrs. Lucille Koenig, of Newton; two nephews, Charles and Jane Koenig, of Cleveland and Gerald and Ruth Koenig of Plymouth; three nieces; Ms. Dennis (Lois) Albright of Kiel, Mrs. Larry )Linda) Glamert of Sheboygan, Mrs. David (Paula) Arenz of Kiel; numerous great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother.

Funeral services were held at Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel. The Rev. Dean Roy Miller of Campbellsport, officiated. Burial was in Kiel cemetery.
