He was born May 17, 1924 in Kiel son of the late Henry and Marie Kattreh Wittrock.
He graduated from Kiel High School.
Herman was employed at Kohler Co. for over 30 years until his retirement.
He was a veteran of U.S. Army during WWII serving his country in the Pacific Theatre.
Herman was a member of the Kiel VFW Post 6707 and also enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Survivors are two uncles; Arno (Marie) Kienbaum, Willard (Isabell) Kienbaum and one aunt, Pearl Kienbaum all of Kiel, one cousin Irene Krostag, his special friend, Rerbena Hall of Kiel.
He was preceded in death by one brother Frederick Wittrock.
Burial in the Kiel Cemetery.
