"Myers Funeral to be Held Saturday:Funeral services for Conrad Myers, 88, of Albany R. F. D. 3 who died in the Sacred Heart Hospital in Eugene at 3:30 a. m. Monday, March 8, will be held from the Fisher funeral home at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 13, with Rev. Orville Mick and Rev. Alan Banks officiating. Rev. Ivan Correll is to be the soloist, accompanied by William Fisher. He was born in Iowa March 29, 1855, and had been a resident of Missouri and Kansas before coming to Oregon 52 years ago, living at Harrisburg, Eugene and Brownsville and for the last six years in this community.
Mr. Myers was married in Eugene Jan. 18, 1912, to Irene Hayes, who survivies him as do the following children; Leslie Myers of Clordova, Alaska, Glen of Van Nuys, Cal., John of Eugene, Marjorie Ross of Los Angeles, Emma Barbar of Marie City, Cal., Ethel Malone of Chula Vista, Cal, and Helen Banks of Albany; 14 grandchildren; three great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Surviving children by a first marriage to Augusta Reinick Myers are: Leon Myers of Cincinnati, Ohio, Rex Myers of Eugene, Charles Myers of Tigard and Mrs. Vera Shook of Seattle."
