Son to John Wesley Winslett and Bertha Ivy, brother to John Wesley Jr., James T., Bessie, Evelyn and Marie. Husband to Noma Lee Bowen, married on Dec.22,1935 in Limestone Gap, Oklahoma. Father to Merl, Allen, Stella (Lindesmith), Alma (Lindesmith), Edith (Phillips), and Wesley.
Hayden had a sense of humor and loved to joke around and tease. He was very talented with all musical instruments and could do anything with his hands when it came to building or doing repairs. Hayden was not well educated but he was gifted in common sense and there was very little he and Noma Lee couldn't figure out. He loved kids, he worked for a school system and drove a school bus for many years. He loved to garden and raise his own vegetables and flowers. He was a friend to all, a wonderful father and grandfather. Hayden is missed by all and not a day goes by his kids don't think of "Papa"
