Hannah Jane Stevens had been lost to our family, but we were finally able to locate her.

Hannah was born Hannah Jane Kimball from Michigan. Hannah married Enoch Doty, a descendant of the Mayflower's Edward Doty.

Enoch suffered a bullet wound to the stomach in the second Battle of Bull Run. He returned home and fathered three daughters, but died shortly.

They had three daughters, Ascsah, Roena, and Edith. Edith died when she was 5 years old.

They moved back to her parents and Hannah married a neighbor, Jessie Stonebrook.

In the 1900 census, Hannah shows up in Idaho. She later married Lemott E. Stevens at her daughter's Aschsah's home.

Aschsah married a Platt and came to Idaho with her mother and a sister.

Hannah is buried in the Reubens, Idaho ( Melrose, Idaho) up the hill from her daughter Roena Lillian Doty Bacon.

We are so glad we found great-great-grandma! You were hidden under our noses since you were buried under the last name of Stevens. Welcome, Home!!
