Fred W. Stolzmann(sic), 78, of Rhinelander, a former Town of Rhine cheesemaker and Kiel resident, died Saturday morning at home.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel. The Rev. Allen L. Bowe will officiate and burial will be in the Kiel Cemetery.
Mr. Stolzmann was born July 2, 1888, in the Town of Meeme. He married Ercie Liby April 17, 1915. He operated a cheese factory in the Town of Rhine before moving to Kiel, where he was employed at Kiel Bottling Works. The couple had celebrated its golden wedding anniversary in April, 1965.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Marvin (Pearl) Walls, of Rhinelander, two grandchildren and a great grandchild.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. Orville Oestreich, 2322 Erie Ave., Mr. and Mrs. Albert Stoltzmann, 723 Superior Ave., and Mrs. Elsie DeMarco of Chicago, Ill., attended the funeral of Fred Stoltzmann, Rhinelander, Wis., who died Saturday morning. The service on Tuesday was held in Kiel. Albert Stoltzmann and Mrs. DeMarco are brother and sister of the deceased man.
