Lucille Campbell Nichols, 96, Rodney, Ohio died January 15, 2011 in St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, West Virginia. She was born June 9, 1914 in Sissonville, West Virginia, daughter of the late Rev. Lewis E. Campbell and Laura B. Jones Campbell.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Emory Nichols in 1970 and daughter, Birdie Nichols Goff; three brothers: Lawrence, Edgar and Norval Campbell; and five sisters: Mamie Miliam, Silvia Fields, Stella Flowers, Goldie Fields and Genevieve Shamblin.

She is survived by her sister, Colleen Ball Riley, Charleston, West Virginia; two grandchildren: Greta (Paul) Dicenzo, Buffalo, New York and Donald Goff, Rodney, Ohio; seven great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Nichols was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church in Sissonville.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, January 20, 2011 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, 420 First Ave, Gallipolis, Ohio with Rev. Heath Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Vinton Memorial Park, Vinton. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday 4:00–6:00 PM.
