William Scholz, 92, of New Holstein, died Sunday at the Toth Nursing Home, Chilton.
He was born Dec. 4, 1875 in Berlin, Germany, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Carl Scholz. Mr. Scholz settled in Kiel after coming to the United States.
On Oct. 10, 1906, he married Miss Elvina Bohenstengel of Greenbush at St. John's Lutheran Church, Plymouth. She died in 1963.He was a foreman at the A. A. Laun Furniture Co., Kiel, until his retirement
in 1952.He was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Kiel.
Survivors are two sons, William of New Holstein and Harvey of Frankfurt, Germany; and five grandchildren. A son preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel, with the Rev. John F. Baumann, pastor of St. Peter's UCC, officiating. Burial will be in the Kiel Cemetery.
