Ora was born near Klondike Ridge in Tyler County, W.Va, and spent all of his life in and around the Tyler, Wetzel County area.

He was quite an accomplished man as he worked as a self taught carpenter, drove a fork lift both during his employment at the Paden City Pottery as well as Corning Glass. He retired from Corning Glass.

Ora served his country as an Army man proudly in World War II and always said he was a better man for joining the service.

He was never one to "brag" on himself...and did not take compliments well, but he was very deserving of every one that came his way.

He was also known to not "talk" too much, but when he spoke; everyone listened..:)

He wasn't one to "retire", so he ran for, and was elected Sheriff of Wetzel County serving the county for a 4 year term only after many years in other types of law enforcement..city, county, etc.

He was a very devoted husband to his wonderful wife Bernadine,(still living), his children; Robert Eston of Greenwood, Indiana, Mary Stull-Suire of Lake Charles, La and William Arthur Stull of Paden City, WVa; and many grandchildren, great and great/great-great grandchilden. He was always one to give more than he had and was loved by everyone as he touched their lives.

He was known for his sense of humor, his "always" smile and his love of people and children. All of the children looked for him because he carried candy in his pocket for them at all times.

He always wanted to take a back seat to his loving wife and was always wanting to do things for her.

He never stopped working even up to the moment of his death..he was putting up siding on his shop when he passed away in July of 2002.

I am writing this as his only daughter, and in memory of my Daddy. I miss him terribly and am thankful that he is with the Lord today and not suffering.

Rest, Daddy....I love you!!
