FRIEDA REISS

Mrs. Paul Reiss, 78, of 503 Calumet Ave., Kiel, died early today at St. Nicholas Hospital where she had been a patient for the past week. Nee Frieda Meinert, Mrs. Reiss was born in Manitowoc County July 28, 1878. She attended school in Kiel, was graduated from the Kiel High School in 1894, and for a number of years worked as a clerk in a general store in Kiel.
She was married to Mr. Reiss June 11, 1914. Mr. Reiss' home was in Sidney, Mont., and the couple lived there until 1944 when they moved to Kiel. Mrs. Reiss was a member of St. Peter Evangelical and Reformed Church at Kiel.
She leaves her husband as her only immediate survivor. One brother and two sisters preceded Mrs. Reiss in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Peter Evangelical and Reformed Church. The Rev. Vernon E. Jaberg will conduct the services, and burial will be in the Kiel Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home in Kiel from 2 p.m. Sunday until 11 a.m. Monday and at the church from 11:30 a.m. Monday until the time
of services.
